I had mixed feelings about my stay. The location is fantastic, close to everything I wanted to explore, and getting around was easy thanks to the scooter rentals. However, my experience was overshadowed by dated rooms and ongoing maintenance issues. Additionally, the noise from nearby clubs made it difficult to get a good night's sleep, which was disappointing.

I had a lovely stay at Montien House, enjoying the beautiful beachfront location and the amazing service from the staff. The rooms were clean but felt a bit tired, and while my kids faced noise issues from the bars next door, the fantastic pool and dining options made up for it. The only downside was that swimming directly from the hotel wasn’t ideal due to shallow water caused by the reef.

While the rooms were spacious, they could have used some refreshing. Additionally, the noise from the nearby bars at night is certainly disruptive. The beach access is a bit complicated due to the reef, and the cleanliness of the facilities left much to be desired.
